He has come back to visit a few times, but I haven't seen him in the past few weeks. Google "Elk, AZ, Vet" and watch the AZ family story to see the miracle. Elk are related to deer but are much larger than most of their relatives. The most accurate story is the one that ran on the Phoenix, AZ news. Elk are also called wapiti, a Native American word that means light-colored deer. The story made national and international news. It was a true miracle!!! I have been criticized that I could have been severely injured or killed, but I was never scared. I was able to cut the swing off his antlers over a 12 hour period by just talking to him in a very calm quite voice. I didn't have the luxury of a tranquilizer gun so had to rely on corn, pruners and prayers. I am a small animal veterinarian and have a very special bond with animals, but this unlike any animal I had ever helped before. After hitting multiple roadblocks in trying to get help for him, I decided I had to help him myself. He kept getting hit in the face with the log and was in distress. There was a log on one side and a tire on the other side of his face. Labor day weekend I had a bull elk come into my yard that was tangled in a tire swing. I’m not sure if it was vision or just a bad nightmare but I have never had a dream this vivid, with feelings, color, and sounds. The bull elk let out a painfully pound screech and then died. I then took the antler that broke off (it felt very familiar to me) and stabbed it through the neck for what felt like a long time. I grabbed the antler but the elk stabbed me through my right shoulder (I remember vivid pain). I somehow flipped the elk over the top of me (I remember it being very straining to do so) after I flipped it it broke my chair but it broke off one of its antlers. I took the chair I was sitting on and brought it to protect me and the elk got stuck in it.
Then a massive bull elk about 8ft tall came out of the fog and charged me, It was a 15 or more point. The strangers fled with them and I was alone. Then a fog came Into the valley and a heard of cow elk came stampeding down the road, lots of bugles. The slightly smaller one was blood red and behind it. They where incredibly bright and the biggest in was a orange red.

Then all of a sudden the full moon changed into two massive moons takeing up 1.5/3 of the sky. Our North American bison are only scarcely. I was playing cards with a group of faceless strangers, no words where ever said. The problem is that the names given to North American animals by European settlers werent always that accurate. There was a road going through the valley and a single shack behind me with one lamp hung on the outside. I was sitting at a round table in a valley at night a full moon over head, Frogs where croaking around me. A bull (male) elk's antlers may reach 4 feet above its head, so that the animal towers 9 feet tall. Usually I forget all my dreams but this stayed with me. Elk are related to deer but are much larger than most of their relatives. This dream was extremely vivid and I remember it well.
